DON’T THROW OUT YOUR OLD CDS

Summer is trying to speed along but let us put out some speed bumps to slow it down 🙂

Okay, today is Monday and I found the perfect project for old CDs. I have a few and I was always wondering what I could recycle them into.

So, this weekend while working on my   #mandalasforMarinke mandala, I had a flash of inspiration: I said “why not cover each CD with a mandala and make a curtain?” so I did a search and you guessed it: someone already had CDs recycled as mandalas.

 

So, that is going to be my next project for my RR room. The clock is still on the pending list because the mechanical part came in but it did not fit, so I will try to see if I can get a perfect fit and get that clock working again as an Art Deco Crochet Clock, wish me luck 🙂

Mandalas can be simple or complex, edgy or symmetrical. I think there is a mandala for every mood.

 

So, do not throw out your old CDs,  we can make them into something beautiful…
