I am conducting several experiments with yarn texture to build my squares for my future Room Yarnbomb, it sounds official, and it should.
This experiment will help me decide if the 3D aspects of my granny squares or any square for that matter can be done just with texture or it must to be done the traditional way, with an added layer, (I am still in the experimentation phase).
So far I have completed these, it may not be clear in the photographs but there’s a subtle edge with the thicker yarn.
The yellow yarn and the multicolored yarn are much thicker than the rest and it seems to “pop out” giving the square the “look” of 3D.
Well I just wanted to let you know what I am working on when I am not outside enjoying the breathtaking beauty of nature.
Enjoy and Have a beautiful and creative Thursday!!!! See You Soon…
You really like big projects don’t you? Love to see how your room turns out.
