Hello Monday morning!! Hello Lovely People!!

Lots of news around here: My mailman handed me my bag of  100% wool yarn, two days ago.  It is very lovely b – u – t  it wont work for my warm big yarn blanket, so I am returning it.

I need a combination yarn,  a yarn that is heavy and warm a yarn with substance. I am still looking…

My Pinterest board is growing too. I was pinning away when I came across a French Designer with the most beautiful scarves I have seen, her name is Sophie Digard and her scarves sells for hundreds of dollars.

Sophie Digard Crochet

She uses very fine thread and combines lots of colors to create unique scarves, check out my Potpourri Board for more.

She employs crochet artists from Madagascar and well….I just want to work for her.

Crochet Concupiscence has a very nice post on Sophie, here.

The thread or yarn you use for your creations is very important. If you are like me, you won’t stop searching until you find the yarn you “saw” in your mind. 🙂

In other news: I want to take you on a Road Trip in February where we are going to make a bowl out of a lace doily, similar to the one here. So stay tuned 🙂

This is all for now, I need to check up on You to find out what you are working on…..

Have a very beautiful and creative day, Today Is A Gift!!! enjoy..

  2. I’m working on all kinds of things

  3. So sorry your yarn was not what you are looking for, it can be so frustrating when you know exactly what you want. The internet is great for variety but when you cannot touch and feel the yarn it can be quite hard to be certain of what you are buying. Love the lacy bowl idea so will be staying tuned.

  4. Yes, sorry about the wool Pat. Went to see her pieces and they are gorgeous! But hey why work for her? You are doing swell and can do your own branding 😀

  5. Really pretty bowl. Sorry about the yarn. 😔
