I am hoping you had a very restful and creative weekend and you and I are ready to reach 100 miles a minute on our Christmas projects.ย

The tittle to the post is an important one to me because I tend to work on a project until I feel I have attained what I had in mind for my “child”. Sometimes that means simple and practical and sometimes it means elaborate and over the top, it is just a frame of mind.

You know when a project is completed, no need to keep going, you will only unravel it later, which is a bad word ๐Ÿ™‚

I usually visualized something I want to make and then choose the stitches and the colors and yarn, but many times my work evolves while I am working on it.

Sometimes I say to my “son” or “daughter” : You don’t look “right” something is off, then I unravel or change stitches and decide if it looks perfect, whatever that means to me at that precise moment ๐Ÿ™‚

At that point I feel it is okay to proceed to next row, does that happens to you too? I know most of us think alike…

Look at this nut I found on googleย

ย ย isn’t it perfect looking? or these pears

Aren’t each one of these just perfect looking? I think they are, I wouldn’t change anything.

Remember when I had the Road Trip aka the Bruges Lace and Bullion Stitch CAL? and there were 4 circles we didn’t use because they couldn’t fit in the design? well what happened back then is that I had visualized one thing and then couldn’t bring it to life ๐Ÿ™‚ I guess I need more practice..Practice makes Perfect, but I have good news: I am using those circles to revamp old christmas tree balls.

I want to go from ย Product Detailsย to thisย

I have one almost finished, will hopefully present them tomorrow, well this is all for today Monday, I hope to see you soon… Enjoy Today!!! Work hard….

  1. Great ideas, love the lacey doily. I still have some of those that my Mom and Granny made. I should start again as well, they will always be beautiful for me. ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. That is clever recycling!

  3. COOL and great tips! I love it ๐Ÿ™‚ Bye. K.
