Our Road Trip has seen a lot of bumps in the road and mechanical failures but we are happy to have arrived at our destination.
The Bullion and Bruges Lace Crochet Along is over, and it was quite and experience.
We used the Bruges Lace technique and the Bullion stitch, both are not as difficult as it seem. We had to redesign several times. The circles we made that we did not get to use can be used to make another doily or coasters, but I need to work on that.
Things I learned: never ever start a crochet along with a new technique before you have your design down. Always write down and photograph each line as you are working on it, I have learned the hard way that my mind is NOT a computer.
Wash and starch the doily to get a nice final project and enjoy!!!
Looks wonderful. Sounds like it was a journey of discovery and learning which is never a bad thing!
